Successful Inspection Visit in Copenhagen

This weekend CEV Technical Superviser, Mr. Ilya Volodarskiy, visited Copenhagen for the official Inspection Visit for the CEV Continental Cup in Copenhagen to be held from 9th to 11th of September 2011.

The visit was a successful one where Mr. Volodarskiy went through all the preparation done by the Organizer, the Danish Volleyball Federation. Mr. Volodarskiy met with both the Tournament Director, Mr. Jens Albagaard, the Referee Manager, Mr. Hans-Ole Nielsen, the Operational Director, Ms. Tina Sommer-Larsen and the Danish Vice President, Mr. Jørgen Bentzen.

Mr. Volodarskiy was impressed with the progress in the preparation for the CEV Continental Cup. The venue is situated in downtown Copenhagen by the harbour – and right next to the Royal Theatre Playhouse. The matches on the Centre Court will have a 1,000 spectator capacity but many more will be able to watch the matches from the harbour side.
